A small ritual.
A closer look.
For the person who pauses when something moves in the branches. For the new backyard birder. For a gift that begins with curiosity.
Developed with a Mid-Atlantic lens, with a separate Northeast planning section for readers in coastal Maine.
The planned collection
The kit is being developed around these elements. Final contents and format will be stated in the Etsy listing before sales open.
- The cardinal guide: identification references and a framework for selecting and caring for a feeding setup.
- Regional seasonal notes: separate planning prompts for DC, Maryland, Virginia, and coastal Maine.
- A backyard observation journal: space for dates, weather, sightings, and questions.
- Look Closer bingo: an observation activity inspired by the Backyard Bird Haven social series.
A physical feeder and seed are under consideration. Neither is confirmed as an included item. The artwork on this page is brand artwork, not a photograph of a finished kit.
Begin with the view you have.
