What you provide

The free guide form requires an email address. First name and regional interest are optional. We also record your newsletter choice, submission time, and the versions of the form wording and guide.

How it is used

Your submission is saved so Elizabeth Carpenter can manage guide requests and understand interest in regional content. If you separately opt in, your address may be used for Backyard Bird Haven stories and shop updates. A guide request alone does not grant newsletter permission. No automatic email delivery or newsletter campaign is currently connected.

Access and choices

Submitted information is held in the website’s database and is available through an owner-restricted export. Requests are retained until removed by the owner or in response to a deletion request. You may ask to review or delete your information, or withdraw newsletter permission, by emailing Elizabeth Carpenter. Please use the address you submitted so the request can be checked.
